What is Renewable Diesel (HVO)?
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a second-generation biofuel produced by hydroprocessing vegetable oils, animal fats, and waste cooking oils. The result is a fuel that is chemically identical to fossil diesel — not a blend, not a compromise.
Unlike FAME biodiesel, HVO contains no oxygen, no water absorption risk, and no blending limitations. It can be used as B100 (100% renewable) in any diesel engine, generator, or vessel without modification, recertification, or operational changes.
