What is Ultra-Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD)?

Ultra-Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD) contains a maximum of 10 parts per million (ppm) of sulphur. This specification is mandatory for all road vehicles and most industrial equipment in Singapore under NEA emission regulations. ULSD is required for diesel engines with modern emission control systems including Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) to function correctly.
