Clariant Protectogen C aqua Description
Clariant Protectogen C aqua is a liquid product that is used as a highly efficient combination of corrosion inhibitors to protect the internal components of cooling and heating systems. It is a water-soluble, glycol-free, yellowish liquid that does not contain any nitrite, amine, borate, phosphate, silicate, or CMR-substances (Cancerogenic Mutagenic Reprotoxic).
Declaration of REACH-conformity
Protectogen C aqua conforms to the EG-guideline 2002/95/EG (RoHS = Restriction of Hazardous Substances), article 4 §1, which means it does not contain any restricted substances like lead, mercury, cadmium, chromate VI, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).

The product is compatible with various materials, and the effectiveness of the inhibitor combinations is checked constantly by the manufacturer by means of the corrosion test method: ASTM D 1384 (American Society for Testing and Materials).
