Clariant Antifrogen N is a pale yellow liquid that serves as a universal heat transfer fluid, antifreeze, and corrosion inhibitor. It can be used in various applications involving heat transfer, such as hot water heating systems, heat pumps, refrigeration equipment, and climate systems, as well as in wind power machines, rail vehicles, and LNG vessels. However, it is not suitable for use in food or pharmaceutical applications.
Clariant Antifrogen N Description
Antifrogen N is inhibited without the use of nitrites, amines, borates, silicates, and phosphates. The optimization of the corrosion inhibition system was performed without using CMR-substances, which are cancerogenic, mutagenic, and reprotoxic. The product doesn’t contain any restricted substances, such as lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), or polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE), as described in the EG-guideline 2011/65/EU (RoHS = Restriction of Hazardous Substances, Article 4 §1).
